Craig Peacock

Craig PeacockCraig was born in Port Glasgow in 1961 and received his Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art and BA (Hons) Degree from Glasgow School of Art.  He has since worked as a freelance artist and designer, and as an art tutor and lecturer.

From designing a clock, commissioned by Yarrow’s Ship Builders to be presented to Her Majesty the Queen, to travelling to Brazil to record audio work for Tacita Dean’s project in the Tate Gallery, London, Craig has a long and very varied career with the arts in general.  He has also received many prestigious accolades and been awarded the McLean Watters Medal from The Royal Academy, Scotland and the J. and M. Craig Bequest from Glasgow School of Art.

Craig approaches every commission from a experienced and professional background.  His series of sunrises evoke an almost Turneresque appearance and his love of the subject matter ensures his work sells well.  Many are in private collections all over the world.
